FLORHAM PARK, N. Julio Jones Jersey .J. -- Darrelle Revis still is upset with Bill Belichick. The All-Pro cornerback said Thursday that the way the Patriots coach "disrespects" the New York Jets is uncalled for and not professional. "When you make it personal, when you say things that are personal, why go there?" Revis said of derogatory comments he believes Belichick made last season, particularly after a 37-16 home loss to New England. "When you are talking about having a better defence, OK. But when you say they can suck ... or whatever. "Its a sport. Hey, we shook your hands after the game. Then it gets too personal, without anything said from our side. They can feel they are better than us, just dont get personal." Revis called Belichick "a jerk" in March on a TV show. He doesnt deny that Belichick is a top coach. Its his approach that annoys Revis. "Thats disrepect," Revis said. Asked about his contract status, Revis said he is "cool" with his current deal, which has two years to run and came out of a lengthy, contentious holdout in 2010. He says he is not thinking about another holdout, but didnt completely dismiss it. "Lets quit talking about holding out and holding in," he said after an off-season team workout Thursday. "I have two more years on my contract. I am cool. I am not unhappy about anything." But he also believes hes outperformed the deal that pays him about $46 million over four years, with $32 million guaranteed. Philadelphias Nnamdi Asomugha signed for $60 million over five years last summer. "I dont need to say that," Revis said. "It speaks for itself. "I dont need to be a distraction to this team. I am a part of the roster. I am in the contract I am in now and right now I am with the team and working out and trying to get ready for the season. Even if my representative and (the team) start discussing it, my focus is with the team." Revis is considered the best cover cornerback in the league and Jets coach Rex Ryan was instrumental in getting the last contract stalemate resolved. Considering how the Jets fell apart late last season, Ryan certainly doesnt want his star defender distracted by his salary. Revis called the 2011 season "disgusting." "It was 8-8," he said. "Thats not good. But we are not 8-8 now. We are not that team." Matt Ryan Black Jersey . Scott, who has refused to do interviews since Week 1 of the season, was on his way out of the locker room and speaking to a female reporter Friday off the record when Dan Leberfeld of Jets Confidential magazine approached the linebacker to snap a picture with his phone to use on his website. Scott asked Leberfeld why he was taking another picture of him -- after Leberfeld did the same thing Wednesday, upsetting another female reporter who was talking to the linebacker off the record. Leberfeld, in his 18th season covering the team, told Scott he did it simply because he wanted to, and the linebacker told him to "get a life." Leberfeld fired back with a similar response. Scott said hed hit Leberfeld, who responded: "Ill sue you." Scott shouted, "I dont care!" and was led out of the locker room after a Jets media relations staffer intervened. "We work hard to foster an appropriate working environment," the team said in a statement. "We regret this incident occurred and are reviewing the matter." Leberfelld, who also works for Sirius XM Radio, told The Associated Press he never actually felt physically threatened. Matt Ryan Jersey. . "I dont think a player would be that stupid," he said. "A player would be suspended or have legal issues, so I dont think a player would ever do that." Leberfeld added that he wanted the pictures because hes writing a story on writers talking to him in an attempt to negotiate with him to end his media boycott. Scott has not conducted any formal interviews with the media since Week 1, when he said he was angry at reporters for portraying the Jets as a "circus." Leberfeld points out in the latest edition of his magazine that it was actually 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs, a close friend of Scott, who was the first to characterize the franchise as having a "circus" atmosphere during training camp. This is not the first time Scott has had an issue with the media. The Jets fined him $10,000 in January for an obscene gesture he made toward a photographer as the team cleared out its lockers following the end of the regular season. Scott walked past reporters and then turned, stuck out his middle finger and used an expletive while telling a photographer to get the camera out of his face. ' ' '
